How does the AI work without internet?

Mochi Pet uses a compact AI language model that runs directly on your iPhone's Neural Engine. The model is bundled with the app, so it works offline — no data is sent to any server.

Which iPhones are supported?

Mochi Pet requires iPhone 15 or newer running iOS 17+. The on-device AI model requires the Neural Engine found in A17 Pro chips and later.

My Mochi seems sad/hungry. What do I do?

Feed your Mochi, play games, and talk to them! Stats naturally decrease over time (just like a real pet needs attention). Use treats for a quick boost, or play mini-games to raise happiness and bond levels.

Can I have multiple Mochis?

Currently, Mochi Pet supports one companion per device. Each Mochi develops a unique personality based on your interactions, making the bond more meaningful.

What does the Best Friend Pass include?

The Best Friend Pass ($2.99/month) is an optional subscription that supports development and unlocks premium features. The core Mochi experience is completely free.

How do I cancel the Best Friend Pass?

Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone. Find Mochi Pet and tap "Cancel Subscription." Your premium features will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

I purchased an item but it's not showing up

Try the following: Open the Shop tab and tap "Restore" in the top right corner. This will restore all your purchases. If the issue persists, contact us below.

Can I transfer my Mochi to a new phone?

If you have iCloud sync enabled, your Mochi's data will automatically transfer when you sign into the same Apple ID on your new device. Purchased items are also restored through the App Store.

Is my data private?

Absolutely. Everything — conversations, pet data, personality — stays on your device. We have zero servers and collect zero data. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
